Indian Cricket team

Indian Cricket team:

Yesterday I watched the BIG Fight show in NDTV about Asian Cricketing teams, and main discussion was about Indian Cricket team.

We saw a lot of cricket in the recent time, Indians are not faring well in any conditions, May be in India or Foreign pitches. The main reason according to me is the following:

1. Not enough talent in Pace bowling department,
2. Batsmen lack consistency,
3. Spin is also loosing track,
4. We need to redesign the selection process,
5. We need to change the Internal cricket tournament Design,
6. We need to bring more youngsters into cricket and
7. 3rd position problem.

All these seems to be a long term plan, How can India win the world Cup ? Is there a chance ?

At this stage, I am personally sorry to make this statement – but still - I don’t think so.

We need to build a strong pace bowling department with existing Pathan, Munaf, Z Khan, Nehra, Balaji and Agarkar. I feel we have spent enough time with all of them expect for Munaf. In spin we need to bring new bowlers, at present Kumble and Harbajan should be trained well.

The real problem is also in consistency of bating, we have Super Brands like Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Yuvraj etc ….. But they don’t play in big matches - expect for the THE WALL – Dravid. I hope Dhoni will keep the good goin, Of late I see more pressure on him too.

Each and every cricketer earns a lot of money in the commercials, at least for that sake they need to practice well and deliver well. Even if India cricketers don’t play for Fame & Money, at least they should try to fulfill the Dreams of Billions of fans like me.

Cricket is not a game; it’s a Religion in Indi
a

It’s a shame to see none of the India cricketers name in ICC awards, Dravid missed Best captain award, Yuvraj missed Best batsmen award, and No one even expected any award for Young player or Best Bowler. The consolation price for the Indian team came when they saw 3 names of Indians in One day ICC Team and Dravid being captain of Test ICC Team.

As a great Indian fan, I would love to see India win the World cup, but we need to work a lot and Deliver. We need to prove in South Africa First and we have to Build a stable team and go on a winning spree and take to World Cup. I will pray for India

FIFA Fever is catching up every one in India, Compared with the past, More and more individuals are aware of FIFA World Cup 2006 and its Team, Goals, Players and Fun. Football fever is catching up with Indian fans too.

This awareness and enthusiasm should lead more youngsters coming into football; FIFA World cup 2006 action has made the Indian fans to miss the ongoing Cricket Test series with West Indies.

We have more action to come, as the teams have lined up for Quarterfinals. I will cheer for Germany, Argentina and England to win this cup than Brazil, France or Italy.

If you have money …… Don’t wait, Invest in Equitys or MF.

Note: Still there is a risk of a fall due to F&O, No Govt. Banking ie. Public sector participation and other regular risks in the market.

1. May 18, 2006: The Sensex registered a fall of 826 points (6.76 per cent) to close at 11,391, it's biggest ever, following heavy selling by FIIs, retail investors and a weakness in global markets.

The Lion & Gazelle

THE LION AND GAZELLE PROVERB

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle awakens. He has only one thought on his mind: To be able to run faster than the fastest lion. If he cannot, then he will be eaten.

Every morning in Africa a lion awakens. He has only one thought on his mind: To be able to run faster than the slowest gazelle. If he cannot, he will die of hunger.

Whether you choose to be a gazelle or a lion is of no consequence. It is enough to know that with the rising of the sun, you must run. And you must run faster than you did yesterday or you will die.
This is the race of life."
