FIFA World Cup 2006 - Fever

FIFA Fever

FIFA Fever is catching up every one in India, Compared with the past, More and more individuals are aware of FIFA World Cup 2006 and its Team, Goals, Players and Fun. Football fever is catching up with Indian fans too.

This awareness and enthusiasm should lead more youngsters coming into football; FIFA World cup 2006 action has made the Indian fans to miss the ongoing Cricket Test series with West Indies.

We have more action to come, as the teams have lined up for Quarterfinals. I will cheer for Germany, Argentina and England to win this cup than Brazil, France or Italy.

SENSEX - The Greatest Fall

SENSEX - The Greatest Fall

This is the right time to invest in the Indian stock market ie. through Equity or through Mutual fund route. The investors who are ready to invest now and look for a decent time frame will gain by the rally wich is about to follow. MF investors should clearly look at long term ie. 1-3 yrs.

If you have money …… Don’t wait, Invest in Equitys or MF.

Hurry ……… Offer valid for a short period !!

Note: Still there is a risk of a fall due to F&O, No Govt. Banking ie. Public sector participation and other regular risks in the market.

Listed below are the 10 biggest falls in the Indian stock market history for Sensex:

1. May 18, 2006: The Sensex registered a fall of 826 points (6.76 per cent) to close at 11,391, it's biggest ever, following heavy selling by FIIs, retail investors and a weakness in global markets.

2. April 28, 1992: The Sensex registered a fall of 570 points (12.77 per cent) to close at 3,870, it's second-largest, following the coming to light of the Harshad Mehta securities scam.

3. May 17, 2004: Another Monday. Sensex dropped by 565 points, its third biggest fall ever, to close at 4,505. With the NDA out of power and the Left parties, part of the UPA coalition government, flexing their muscle, the Sensex witnessed its second-biggest intra-day fall of 842 points, twice attracting suspension of trading. At close, however, it regained some of its lost ground.

4. May 15, 2006: The market fell by 463 points to 11,822 points.

5. April 4, 2000: Sensex slumped by 361 points to 4,691.

6. May 12, 1992: Indian stock markets plunged 334 points to fall to 3,086.

7. May 14, 2004: Sensex lost 330 points to fall to 5,070.

8. May 6, 1992: Losing 327 points, the Sensex fell to 3,561 points.

9. April 12, 2006: Sensex loses at 11,356 points, having lost 306 points..

10. March 31, 1997: Indian stocks sink, with the Sensex losing 303 points to 3,361

The Lion & Gazelle

THE LION AND GAZELLE PROVERB

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle awakens. He has only one thought on his mind: To be able to run faster than the fastest lion. If he cannot, then he will be eaten.

Every morning in Africa a lion awakens. He has only one thought on his mind: To be able to run faster than the slowest gazelle. If he cannot, he will die of hunger.

Whether you choose to be a gazelle or a lion is of no consequence. It is enough to know that with the rising of the sun, you must run. And you must run faster than you did yesterday or you will die.
This is the race of life."

Chandramukhi - Super Star

Movie : Chandramukhi

Language: TAMIL
Director:P.Vasu
Producer:Shivaji Productions

Cast: S U P E R S T A R - Rajnikanth !!! , Prabhu, Jyothika, Nayantara, Vadivel, Nasar Malavika, Vineeth, KR Vijaya

Music: Vidyasagar

SUPER STAR PATTAM : Flys high:

The movie was rumoured to be loosely based on the Fazil-directed Malayalam classic "Manichitrataazhu", which won Shobhana a National Award for her portrayal of a schizophrenic woman. In fact, the movie is a scene-by-scene adaptation - except for a few changes tailored to fit Rajni - of the original.

Unfortunately, "Chandramukhi" is not "Manichitrataazhu". It is a superstar film - from reel one to the last minute. He is in the thick of it all, starting with when he hits 30 hoodlums out of the screen - vintage Rajni fare that masses expect. Rajnikant as a mind-reading psychiatrist who also possesses Neo's ability to twist his body around bullets? Now, that's an unexpected twist!

STORY:

For the uninitiated, "Chandramukhi" is the story of a house haunted by the ghost of a dancer, who suffered severe depravities at the hands of an evil king (vetiya maharaja) years ago in the same place. Chnadramuki is a beautiful dancer who loves a dances, but the vetiyan king kills him as he like chandramuki, He also she kills her, she thus becomes a ghost and waits for a revenge. But the king prays, brings priest to look that ghost in a room in his house (He fnally dies naturally). When Jothika and prabhu buys the house after 200 yrs, She opens the door (just to know ehats inside - even after many telling nt even to see that place), get inspired by the Ghost story and slowly she becomes Chandramuki. Rajini understands the place initially and finds it without any trouble, so he recommends Prabhu to buy the house, but after she opens that door.... all trouble starts ..... Rajini comes back and solves all the trouble, he projects/maskes him as Vatiyan king in chandramukis mind and make the ghost (chandramuki) avenge him ....... CLIMAX : How he manages to escape from Ghost, how he saves Jothika, how he unites the faily is the climax

Rajni plays the role of Prabhu's psychiatrist friend who attempts to sort the whole sordid mess out. For most of the movie, however, he is the superstar and not his character, Dr. Saravannan. But then Rajni is a treat to watch for the multitudes who worship him and it is unlikely that any other portrayal of the man would be accepted by the audience. If you are a Rajni fan, you'll add Dr. Saravannan to your list of favourite characters - right up there with Annamalai, Padayappa and Baasha.

The movie is as much Jyothika's as it is Rajni's. However, she does not do as good a job of it as Rajni does. In fact, her eye-rolling and eyebrow-raising begin to grate after a while. she saya laka laka laka in the end ..... Which is as catchy as rajini says.

Comic relief is supplied by Vadivelu, whom I would call the villain of the movie - mainly because of his loud, irritating performance that even drowns the superstar's voice in many scenes, not to mention his slapstick comedy that is more likely to find its fans in kindergartens.

Talking of direction, P. Vasu has done a pretty decent job . The music by Vidyasagar is catchy, and Rajni is in his element as he dances away in a sherwani, in red cargos and white trainers, and atop the Alps wearing a colourful shirt and sunglasses.

If you are a fan of the Thalaivar, you've probably already watched the movie by the time this review hits the stands. If not, you can see it once.

Final 1/2 hour : CLIMAX

-s:

FIGHT (too much action for this story)
Acting (Rajini looks old)
Jothika acting (Not as shobana)

Overall, its a great story ...... Great stars and great movie to watch, considering Rajinis age, he has done extremely well. Laka laka laka laka stly is great, as vatiyan raja he looks great (almost like 45 not 55). Great songs, good comedy, little ghost style, good show for 3 months take movie. Finally great vasoooooool for rajini, shavaji filims and Vasu. Great fun for lakhs of people too !!

Dilution of Education

We all know about the status on B.E or BBA or B.L in India, there are as many colleges for engineering as total no. of students in 1980's. But still IIT is very famous, So many people apply for C.A, but still C.A qualified person is wanted everywhere, all these is due to quality of education. There is should be no dilution of Quality; I am seeing it now in MBA, mainly in private B-Schools

Now there are too many Engineers, Doctors and Management Graduates too. From IIM, XLRI SP Jain level to TAPMI, Symbiosis level to ICFAI, ITM, IIPM level to Local universities ... there are too many MBA's now. But there is a very high standards and quality in all top B-Schools - (claimed to be Top) except one college ….. Hope u guys can guess which Inst. I am talking about !!

There is a total dilution of quality, so many centers, so many students, No Library, No Lab, No proper Faculty, No campus, No Hostel, No good placement (not even 100%). Only too things that Inst. stands top: in Fee 4.5 lakhs now and No. of students it touches 2000 in all centers. GOD SAVE FUTURE STUDENTS OF THAT B-SCHOOL. How come rank 10 or 12 or 14 – So stupid ……………. All rating are bull shit. Meet alumni to know about the B-School. People still dont believe all these, many people are telling me that they want to get into privated B-Schools. Todays YOuth have no choices, No jobs, No Business, No Focus - so they get into the trap.

Hi All

I am Finally Back in Chennai after some sweet days back Home – I am currently working hard to complete my MRP Project as a requirement for the completion of my MBA at IBS. After completion of my Report, presentation and submission I will be leaving to Mumbai on 18th night to attend Cholamandelam AMC Training. On 25th April I have to Report in Chennai Office for my Job.

Monday, March 28, 2005

Happy Days

It’s a great feeling going back Home, I am almost done with my Final Project. After this I just have to submit a report and make a presentation. I have to join Cholamandelam AMC on 20th April - directly for training in Bombay. So I just got some time to go home for Freaking out and Enjoying.

I am very lucky to get some time to go Home and Enjoy, Most of my friends have already joined their Jobs - they are working too hard, now it self they have learned to Burn their Bums and Stomach in their Jobs. In IT and ITES companies, it’s the worst case scenario where people work at least for 12 hrs. They work too hard and come back to room as Zombies in late night or in the early morning. Marketing companies are little better as the work is not yet fully started. But most of my friends stay late night just for the sake of it; they don’t work all these 12 hrs.

Happy Holidays to all my Friends, BEST OF LUCK for their Jobs. I will be back from Coimbatore on 10th April,I Will leave to Bombay on 17th in Bombay Mail. My computer back home is not working, So no updates or blogging for the next 10 days.

properly & swallowing)-means 30days. Days left 96.

6. 1 hour for talking (man is a social animal)-means

Plus one ( + 1 )

Plus one is nothing but your performance or achievement plus one level of performance or achievement. In our life we achieve a lot of things and we are happy about them – Nothing wrong about that, but next time we have to perform little better than last time. This is something like Bench marking – and beating it and setting a new Benchmark.

In Studies, Gym, Work, Games, Faily, Life ... Little extra effort will prove the difference, so we have to work for that bit extra effort. Plus one will mean a lot to our character, we will learn to be a winner in Life. We can feel the difference, but we cannot be plus one in every activity in Life, but we can prioritize the top ones and we can try to achieve a little extra every time. This concept helps companies to perform extra, serve their customer extra, and satisfy stakeholders extra ... So i will slowly start practicing Plus one in my Work .... It will surely help me !!
